Gary Lund, Academy Award winning illustrator, was born in Los Angeles and studied painting and illustration at Chouinard Art Institute. His work in film, books, magazines, and paintings has appeared in such diverse projects as the TV movie, "The Point" (won an Emmy), The Legend of John Henry (Academy Award Winner), and books including Coyote Stories for Children, Hey Diddle Diddle, Welcome to Earth, Wolf Stories, The Frank Zappa Song Book, Rolling Stone, Healing the Whole Person, the Whole Planet, and Life: Before, During, and After which won the Benjamin Franklin ABA Award for book illustration and design. As Art Director for SPIRIT SPEAKS magazine, Gary designed covers and illustrated each magazine for ten years.
Norma Hughes, spiritual healer, channel, and scribe for Theo, described herself as actress, wife, mother, avid reader, hands-on healer, and channel for 20 or so different showbiz folk. Norma began her channeling career when Fred Astaire began speaking in her ear and became a regular companion during her daily walks in the park. Eventually, Norma became a contributing channel to SPIRIT SPEAKS magazine and a reliable and valuable conduit between Theo (in heaven) and Molli (Earthside) as the Theo book project was developed.
One of Norma's favorite spirit communicators was Louis Armstrong who, during his physical life, decided to smile no matter what was going on around him. Then, one day, he realized he had become happy. Imagine that! In much the same manner, Norma smiled constantly, tooted her own horn, and reminded herself (from time to time) that we're all playing in the same band.
Norma left physical life to reside in Earth's Grand Hotel in 2020.
